Mayor Amy Goodwin Endorsement
The eight years that I have spent as mayor of my hometown of Wheeling have been some of the most challenging and rewarding of my life. Mayors are judged by their constituents in real time, and successful mayors put people and results over politics.
While I am incredibly proud of the work that I’ve done in Wheeling these past eight years, I tell people all the time that the best mayor from Wheeling in the state right now could very well be Amy Goodwin. Mayor Goodwin has brought incredible energy and vibrancy to her adopted city of Charleston, and it means the world to me that she would endorse me in this very critical U.S. Senate primary.
