Mayor Glenn Elliott Announces Statewide Summer Tour

[Wheeling, WV] – Glenn Elliott, candidate for U.S. Senate in West Virginia, announces his
summer campaign tour on West Virginia Day, 2024.

“The Place Where We Belong Tour” will cover all 55 counties of West Virginia, running from
West Virginia Day through Labor Day. Elliott plans to engage directly with residents through
door-to-door canvassing in each county and hosting a series of regional town halls.

“I wanted to take the opportunity this summer to listen to as many West Virginians as
possible,” said Glenn Elliott. “How will I do that? I’m going to knock on their doors, shake
hands, and introduce myself. Too often politics seems to unfold on cable news, instead of
face to face in people’s communities. This summer we’re going to talk to folks from Welch to
Weirton.”

The first town hall of the series will be held on Friday, June 21st, from 5-7 pm at the Jack
Caffrey Arts and Cultural Center located at 143 Wyoming Street, Welch, WV. The campaign
hopes McDowell County residents will attend the Welch town hall and share their hopes and
aspirations for the Mountain State.
